This spool belongs to series which is normed from German rule "DIN 46399".
Several appropriate technical tricks make this spool reliable to wind on thin synthetic monofilament.
Realized in two pieces, the cap is fixed to the body with a joint which means that use of glues is pointless. This joint assures also a perfect axiality of centering holes. Usable for the most demanding applications. Polygonal design of ribbing make it perfect also for high speed winding processes.
Usually produced in polypropylene, High Impact Polystyrene (PS) or glass fiber reinforced polyamide (PA / PA GF) .
