During the last years, we faced to an increasing willness to consume in a sustainable way and to pay more attention to the planet.

Alpaplastic is investing money every year in reducing its carbon footprint, both in terms of process and products. As eco-sustainable seems to mean “plastic free”, a lot of customers are asking us to produce alternative spools according to alpaplastic quality standards.

For these reasons we decided to propose a kind of spool which is completely different to our previous products: cardboard spools. Cardboard together with our second-life plastic® certified spools increase our sustainable products range.
