This is an offside rule spool. It's really similar to our model "Din 250 T22", but even if it have the same external sizes the winding capacity is increased by 30% because the central body diameter is smaller.
Several appropriate technical tricks make this spool reliable to wind on thin synthetic monofilament, but it's used also for cables, plastic tubes and agriculture filament .
Realized in two pieces, the cap is fixed to the body with a joint which means that use of glues is pointless. This joint assures also a perfect axiality of centering holes. Polygonal design of ribbing make it perfect also for high speed winding processes.
Usually produced in Polypropylene, High Impact Polystyrene (PS) or glass fiber reinforced polyamide (PA / PA GF) .
